The ugly incident took place on the gasp of first half where Lisandro Martinez and Patrick Bamform went for a tussle and ended up being on the ground.
When recovering, Martinez stubbed Bamford’s head two times; first with the front side of the boot and then grazed his shin again which fumed the Leeds fans.

It was investigated by the VAR team and after a little conversation, Simon Hooper decided not to show red card to the Argentine butcher and fans were seen disgusted.
One fan said: “Martinez the âButcher of Amsterdamâ getting away with running his foot across and down Bamfordâs face there.”
Another added: “Lisandro Martinez should have been sent off for this silly challenge on Bamford.”

And a third said: “How is this not a red card??? Martinezâs studs in Bamfordâs chin, then back over Bamfordâs head as he got up⌠he knew exactly what he was doing there. Disgusting.”
Man United were really scruffy throughout the match as they trailed by two goals at the 60th minutes and Rashford pulled one back for them on 62 minutes.
Jadon Sancho completed the comeback for the Red Devils after scoring a gorgeous goal since his returning to the field only a few days ago and Erik Ten Hag will be pleased to see the revival of the talented superstar.
This was special.

Ten Hag is a high tactician and has the experience to led Ajax to the great semi final of the UEFA Champions League in the 2018-19 season. Now a final awaiting for Man Utd in the EFL Cup, the Dutchman will be high in spirit.
