Manchester United hero Dwight Yorke slammed Jamie Carragher after the Liverpool legendary defender claimed Haaland made a mistake by joining Man City.
Haaland joined Man City from Borussia Dortmund in this season and since his joining, records kept tumbling as the Norwegian already has 31 goals in 28 appearances for the Sky Blues.

However, Ex Liverpool defender and television pundit Jamie Carragher believed the future sensation chose the wrong club as Man City’s playstyle didn’t suit him.
“He may have actually picked the wrong club to get the best out of him. We’re not seeing everything of Erling Haaland.”- Carragher said.
“Manchester City as a team will not play end-to-end football, it’s not Pep Guardiola’s way, they build up slowly, push the opposition back to the edge of the box and play from there.”- he explained.

Dwight Yorke is a retired Manchester United professional footballer and born on November 3, 1971, in Trinidad, has criticized Carragher for his comment.
“What a ludicrous statement from Jamie Carragher to say that Erling Haaland has not picked the right club in Manchester City, it’s a ridiculous statement,” Yorke told OLBG.

“When Haaland was scoring all his goals before, everyone was talking about how good he is at Manchester City, now he has not scored in one game, Haaland has signed for the wrong team,” the former Red Devils man further added.
Yorke began his professional career with Aston Villa in the English Premier League, where he had successful spell, scoring over 50 goals in nearly 200 appearances and later joined Man Utd.
Yorke won several trophies with Manchester United, including the Premier League, the FA Cup, and the UEFA Champions League and has worked as a pundit and analyst for several media outlets since his retirement.

Man City will host Aston Villa on February 12 and eyeing for a return to form through a win as further dropping of points mean Arsenal are slipping away with the title.
