After a string of awful performances and defeats, Liverpool finally came back to life after defeating the local rival Everton and Jurgen Klopp can finally have something to cheer about.

After a long time, Liverpool looked like a proper team with Mo Salah and the co. showed sign of form in the victory at Anfield with the newly arrived Cody Gakpo breaking the scoring deadlock as a Liverpool player.
Jurgen Klopp was seen celebrating with the fans with his famous fist pump in the air and the legendary manager felt that this win was a relief for him and his team.

“It’s a massive relief. I didn’t want to do it but you don’t know when the next time you can. Whatever the crowd would have asked for tonight I would have done it – apart from getting rid of my clothes, we don’t want to torture them.”- the Liverpool boss said.

The win against Everton moved All Reds above Chelsea and to the ninth place in the PL points table as Jurgen Klopp’s men are nine points away from the UCL qualification spot.
The Anfield, fortress to the Kop, will host mighty Real Madrid for the UCL round of 16 on February 21 and the derby win will give them a major boost as the 19 times PL champions will be eyeing to extend the winning record for furthermore.
