Marcus Rashford is in glorious form after scoring 13 goals in 15 games since the restart following the FIFA World Cup and the Englishman is rejuvenating under Erik Ten Hag.
Rashford has the pace and skills to stretch any defense as the Manchester United no. 10 showed how it is done in recent affairs and is in red-hot form after struggling in the last couple of seasons through injury.
Xavi attended the press conference ahead of the match and the Spanish-born manager is quick to remind his team about the threat Rashford possessed.
“He’s is one of the most dangerous players in Europe, I would fully agree. He is very fast, a good dribbler one versus one, and dangerous in the transition.”- said the Barca coach ahead of the first leg.

However, Manchester United is now playing as a whole team after the arrival of Erik Ten Hag and looks like there is harmony between the players which is worrying for Xavi’s Barcelona.
“It’s not like we are expecting only one player. We have assessed what they do and how quick they are on the transition, with (Alejandro) Garnacho, (Jadon) Sancho, and (Wout) Weghorst. The counterstrike is very quick. They have strong legs, so we need players who are capable of correcting the fast breaks.”- Xavi explained.
“We need to take care of all of them but, yes, Rashford is one of the most dangerous players in Europe.”- the Spaniard further added.
Manchester United are in great form after moving up to third place in the Premier League points table and they are now looking like a proper team to beat under the new coaching staff.
