If you weren’t already on the edge of your seat in anticipation of the upcoming fight between Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler, the newly released photos from the set of The Ultimate Fighter should probably do the trick.
Fans of the Ultimate Fighting Championship have been speculating wild antics from the ‘Notorious’ ever since it was announced that the newest season of The Ultimate Fighter will feature McGregor and Chandler as coaches. The Irish did not disappoint in his first TUF appearance against Hall of Famer Urijah Faber and the bar was set quite high.

The former champion of two different divisions is currently in Las Vegas, Nevada, filming the 31st season of “The Ultimate Fighter” alongside his next octagon opponent. In just one week, “The Notorious” has begun to generate excitement and chaos, which was anyway expected from McGregor.
What happened on set between Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler?
It has been seen in some footage that The Irishman displayed fury as he jumped into the cage and attacked his rival coach Chandler. This was visible on the recording that was leaked. There isn’t much to go on based on the photographs that have been made public, but reliable sources have confirmed that there was a confrontation between the two fighters.
UFC President Dana White regarding the incident said that some things started escalating that we will see on the show as the stuff that just happened shouldn’t have happened.
”They do not like each other now. I don’t look at stuff that’s good for the show or things like that. Whatever happens, happens. The stuff that just happened shouldn’t happen. I’m getting old boys. I would have been in there sooner back in the old days, but yeah, not good. A lot of s**t went down on Friday.” said Dana.

The incidence of the altercation was also corroborated by a tweet from Sports Illustrated reporter Amy Kaplan.
“Here’s what I learned about the McGregor-Chandler ‘incident’ that Dana was alluding to on Saturday. Apparently, someone was KO’d and McGregor jumped in the cage, shoved Chandler, someone got slapped and the teams rushed the cage. NSAC broke it up.” Kaplan tweeted.

The American MMA fighter also expressed his views toward The Irish MMA superstar indicating there is something going on between them at the moment. According to Chandler, it’s always copacetic until they hit the boiling point as he and Conor are natural-born competitors.
”I came here to prove that I’m better – better than him in every sense of the word, in every single aspect of competition, and not just us fighting later this year, but in this competition of ‘The Ultimate Fighter.’ Conor and I have a lot of mutual respect for each other.” Chandler added.
