It seems that the LA clippers team is having some bad days and not being able to play with the full squad. Firstly, Lou Williams and Montrezl Harrell were away from the team. Then, right when Williams with Patrick Beverley joined the team, guess who is out now? Kawhi Leonard!
He is not expected to play in the next game on Saturday against the Portland Trail Blazers. However, it has officially not been confirmed yet. Leonard has decided to skip one game during back-to-back matches this season to manage soreness in his left knee.
But the team says he will join the team hopefully on Sunday night against the Brooklyn Nets. It was necessary for Leonard as not playing Saturday’s game will allow him to have two days of rest prior to playing against the Nets on Sunday and then another two days off after the Nets game for the next one.
Leonard this season has 26.9 points, 7.2 rebounds with 4.9 assists this season. This 29 years old player will hopefully be good enough for the match on Sunday. So everyone is looking forward to Kawhi after a short break from the court.
