Fans stunned after Tyson Fury stands tall receiving gruesome body shots from Josh Taylor in viral training video

Tyson Fury and headlines are intertwined in a way that is inconceivable to very few perhaps. Whether he does it by dint of boxing or his off-ring antics, he just makes the headlines. It is what he does. He is once again in the news for a ring video this time around. Esteems Scottish boxer Josh Taylor kept hurling brutal blows. To the fans’ utmost surprise, Fury stood tall like he was having just another day in the office.

Taylor has cemented his name in the boxing arena as one of the contemporary stars. In fact, people would argue that he probably is one of the all-time great welterweights. Unlike many other boxers, he gained traction through his boxing acumen. Rather than relying on brutal blows or fast hands, he found his way to the top by utilizing his composure and instantaneous move conception.

Contrary to his signature, Taylor, this time around, focused on taking swipes at Fury. Well, it is safe to say that Fury let him do so. As the fighters are quite often seen taking blows in the abdominal region, as a stunt, or in some cases to strengthen their abs, Fury did it with Taylor.

Tyson Fury turned quite a few heads around

The video should be an indication of how strong Fury is. For someone who has held a welterweight title since 2019, it is hard to argue that Taylor would tire anyone out if he was allowed to take relentless swipes at someone. However, Fury is built unlike anyone else. The heavyweight champion may not look like it. He may give off a vibe that he is not even a pro boxer. Then again, people would be very wrong to make that assessment.

Fury just kept absorbing blows in that recently surfaced video. ‘The Gypsy King’ nonchalantly stood tall as Taylor kept hurling jabs at his abdomen. Unperturbed is what someone would label Fury after seeing this video. He just seemed like he was having fun. On the other hand, Taylor was putting his best effort into making Fury uncomfortable. The duo even shared a laugh after they were done.

Taylor, on the flip side, would hope that nothing like this happens when he returns to the ring. The Scottish champion will take on Teofimo Lopez. He had to back out of a title defense fight against Jack Catterall, owing to injury.

Moving on from that scheduled Glasgow fight, he will have to defend his title this time, that too against someone like Lopez, a former unified champion. They will lock horns on June 10 at Madison Square Garden.

Do you think Taylor will be able to defend his title?
