During a recent UFC 287 pay-per-view event in Miami, Tekashi 6ix9ine was asked by a reporter who his favorite UFC fighter was. To the surprise of many, he replied with “Khabib [Nurmagomedov].”
He also expressed his admiration for Diaz, saying “I like him too.” Some speculate that 6ix9ine’s newfound appreciation for Nurmagomedov may have stemmed from a recent beating he received in a South Florida gym.
In the interview, 6ix9ine made it clear that he wanted to avoid any further altercations, likely due to the seriousness of the gym incident. It remains to be seen if Nurmagomedov will respond to the rapper’s comments in the future.
