Joakim Noah is a former basketball player who was drafted by the Chicago Bulls in the 2007 NBA Draft as the first round 9th overall pick. He played most seasons with the Bulls and was with the Kicks, Grizzlies, and Los Angeles Clippers for a short period of time.
This two-time all-star was active on the NBA court from 2007 to 2020 and had many heated moments with the legendary player LeBron James. So, let’s find out more about their lengthy feud.
What happened between LeBron James and Joakim Noah?
This feud between them takes us back to 2009 when during a game, Joakim called LeBron a b*tch. It was Cavaliers vs. Bulls night and the incident happened during 4th quarter of the game. Noah’s comment seem to have pierced through Kings James’s heart and he rushed to him angrily when his counterparts controlled him during the altercation.
However, that wasn’t the only time when they ended up having a verbal spat. In 2015, Noah repeated the same comment over LeBron calling out ‘You are still a b*tch” during Cavaliers vs. Bulls Playoff game.
When the former Bulls player was asked about his long-standing feud, he mentioned he just couldn’t like how LeBron’s personality is as an NBA player.
It isn’t uncommon for a player to dislike certain aspects of a fellow player but the way Noah reacted to James, was wrong indeed; that’s what Noah said years after his last season in the NBA.
As per him, ‘It was real, man. There were times when I really felt like I hated him, I hated everybody who was in the way. I was like, ‘yo I’m not feeling you, I’m not trying to be friends with you’. I look back on it sometimes, I’m like damn like I was wild. But it’s just hot. It’s how I felt. I can look at it now and laugh about it.”
LeBron James had something else to say about the matter. He mentioned he never had any issues with Noah and maybe he did all this controversy just to gain certain attention from the media and nothing else. Well, share your thoughts on their feuds in the comment section below.
