However, that’s not the only reason why The Last Stylebender is in the news as reports came out shortly after his win that he broke up with his longtime girlfriend Charlotte Powdrell.
Despite being a global superstar and surrounded by the media at all times, Izzy has managed to keep his private life hidden from the public eye. Adesanya has always shown what he wants the public to see. It was apparent that Israel Adesanya was in a relationship with Charlotte as there were a few pictures of the couple online.
Although their breakup seemed sudden and it shocked the world. But as expected Izzy did not reveal much about the reason behind their breakup. He made it clear via one of his stories that he has moved on from Charlotte Powdrell and is enjoying his life.
However, it seems that his ex-girlfriend Charlotte who has supported Izzy for a long time is not happy with how things have ended. Because she has dragged Adesanya to the court and has demanded half his wealth. UFC bantamweight star Sean O’Malley revealed this news and discussed this topic on his podcast recently.
“I don’t know how their relationship was because I didn’t even know he had a girlfriend, but to want half of what he’s gone out there and done is absolutely ridiculous.”

Despite keeping his relationship a secret and not disclosing details about his breakup, things have become ugly for Israel Adesanya. He now has to deal with lawyers and go to court and fight against his ex-girlfriend Charlotte Powdrell.
A month ago, Izzy went on a rant on his Instagram stories aiming at an ex-girlfriend. At that time it was unknown who the person was. But after Charlotte Powdrell’s name came out for dragging out Adesanya to the court, it became apparent that the woman in question was indeed her.
“You don’t care about my life cause you’ve sold info about me, so I don’t care about yours. I don’t even hate; I just don’t care about you. I’ve not been in love with you for a while. In summary, I’m glad this happened. I wouldn’t change a f**king thing.”

It is needless to say that Adesanya was angry when he posted stories with these captions. However, it was unclear until he reacted to Achraf Hakimi’s news. The PSG star went through a similar situation as his wife demanded half of his earnings after their divorce.
Luckily, Hakimi had registered all his wealth under his mother’s name. Izzy commented on one of the posts “Very relatable.” In another story, he wrote “When you came into this life with nothing and tried to leave with millions. But like Achraf Hakimi, my assets are protected. I woulda taken half her s**t too, but I don’t want half of NOTHING.”
