Joe Burrow has consistently demonstrated his unwavering commitment to the team since his rookie season, and most recently through a statement, he was able to win back the Bengals team’s confidence. Ja’Marr Chase, a teammate with both the Bengals and his college team, particularly admired this.
Burrow was selected by the Bengals with the first overall pick in Round 1 of the 2020 NFL Draft, and Chase joins the Burrow family a year later after being selected fifth overall by the Bengals in the 2021 NFL Draft.

Ja’Marr wrapped up 13th in Bengals history with 87 catches and had a 120-plus catch pace over the course of a full season and produced back-to-back 1,000-yard receiving seasons. He maintained his dedication to the team from his rookie year on, much like Burrow, and went on to set the NFL rookie record with 1,455 yards on 81 catches and 13 touchdowns. Joe, however, is the team’s all-time leader in terms of pass attempts, completions, passing yards, touchdown passes, and passer rating in a single season.
The Bengals finished the 2022 season with a 12-4 record, going 6-1 at home and 6-3 away from home, and the team had a record of 22-11 between the 2021 and 2023 seasons under the leadership of the two friends, proving that they are both deeply committed to the team.
