After moonlighting as a superhero on the field and cementing his legacy as one of the greatest quarterbacks in NFL history, Tom Brady signals his foray into the business side of professional football by inking his name as the minority owner of the 2023’s best WNBA team the Las Vegas Aces.
After the successful trade, Brady decided to join hands again with the Las Vegas Aces owner Mark Davis by becoming the minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders. With him now zeroing in on the ownership stake, the team’s current head coach Josh McDaniels has set a condition for the seven-time Super Bowl champion.
McDaniels says Tom Brady will be required to admit the “tuck rule” play was a fumble
According to the ‘tuck rule’, active from 1999 to 2013, if a quarterback loses control of the ball while he is attempting to tuck the ball back to his body after a passing motion, it will be regarded as an incomplete pass rather than a fumble and the play will be dead.
Though it might not be an official condition, the Raiders head coach said the legendary quarterback “100%, no question” has to accept the ‘tuck play’ as a fumble before officially owning part of the franchise via Pro Football Talk.

Josh also reminded everyone of his equation with the 45-year-old and showcased his excitement to work with his long-time quarterback once again.
“I think everybody knows how I feel about Tom the person. So, if that comes to fruition, obviously I’ll be incredibly excited about just him being somebody that’s in Raider Nation and has a vested interest in us doing as well as we can do in trying to bring a championship football team here to Vegas.”

The ‘tuck rule’ played a major role in the New England Patriots vs the Oakland Raiders match where Tom‘s incomplete pass rather than ruling it a fumble paved the way for his team to retain possession and ultimately win the game, marking their first Super Bowl win.
