The Green Bay Packers star quarterback Jordan Love has already melted the heart of the team’s management, leading to the trade of Aaron Rodgers, their four-time MVP. Additionally, the quarterback now appears to be in a friendly relationship with the Packers’ rookie players as well.
Rodgers spent his entire career in Green Bay, while Love has considerably less experience than he does, despite this, the Packers’ team exhibited great confidence in their 3-year veteran player over an 18-year veteran player. JL is a young, vivacious man utilizing all of his physical stamina, on the other hand, A-rod appears to be on the verge of ending his NFL career, additionally, he once decided to leave the league.
Jordan Love has gained reverence as well as affection from rookie players
With Love in practice after this week’s first open OTA session, many rookie players are at ease. The 24-year-old quarterback is still very friendly with all of the rookie players and spends his time teaching them the most important tips, so nearly all of the players already have positive opinions of him.
One of the Love lovers, newly drafted wide receiver Jayden Reed admitted that his relationship with the quarterback is currently completely warm and friendly.
“I can go up to him, and he’ll come up to me sometimes. I think it’s mutual at this point,” Reed cited.
Reed is going to serve as a great weapon for Love
The Naperville native played for Western Michigan and caught 203 passes for 2,866 yards and scored 26 TDs in Michigan State. The wide receiver out of Michigan State was chosen by the Green Bay Packers in the second round, 50th overall, of the 2023 NFL Draft.
To give Jordan more weapons, the Packers used their two second-round picks in the 2023 draft to select Luke Musgrave and Reed. The teams recently agreed to a contract extension to keep the quarterback under contract through 2024, even though that assurance was not granted via the fifth-year option on his rookie deal.
The quarterback continues to be a key weapon for the teams, so the Packers think that Love deserves his chance. He will now have to work hard to establish his superiority over Rodgers.
