Reed is going to serve as a great weapon for Love
The Naperville native played for Western Michigan and caught 203 passes for 2,866 yards and scored 26 TDs in Michigan State. The wide receiver out of Michigan State was chosen by the Green Bay Packers in the second round, 50th overall, of the 2023 NFL Draft.
To give Jordan more weapons, the Packers used their two second-round picks in the 2023 draft to select Luke Musgrave and Reed. The teams recently agreed to a contract extension to keep the quarterback under contract through 2024, even though that assurance was not granted via the fifth-year option on his rookie deal.
The quarterback continues to be a key weapon for the teams, so the Packers think that Love deserves his chance. He will now have to work hard to establish his superiority over Rodgers.
