NFL salary cap making running backs suffer along with high influx in the position
Over the years, NFL experienced a sharp decline in RB’s role over the quarterbacks or others. Moreover, the league seems more focused on establishing a passing game where the running backs are portrayed to be less valuable.
Besides, this position has a short life span compared to others and the salary cap is much lower when compared with other high profile positions. Increased numbers of aspirants for running back positions might be another reason why NFL is putting less money in their pockets.
Well, whatever the actual issue may be, Saquon has spoken up over the issue and is looking forward to getting a satisfactory offer from the team.
