The report states that construction was paused in the late hours of Thursday, and a statement from the local government reads that the violations include the use of freshwater sources, sand, and rock. If found true, Neymar could pay up to 5 million reais, equivalent to roughly $1 million.
Although his party has refused to comment on the allegations, it’s becoming more worrying how Neymar can’t seem to escape the media. Perhaps a little more privacy and a brief move away from the spotlight will help him focus more on football again, especially after recently admitting that he cheated on his pregnant girlfriend.
