Days after Olympian boxer’s scrutiny, Nate Diaz digests further scathing remarks from UFC welterweight ahead of Jake Paul showdown

Randy Brown recently provided his analysis and prediction for the eagerly anticipated boxing bout between Jake Paul and Nate Diaz.

The fight between the YouTube personality-turned-boxer and the seasoned MMA veteran is set to take place on August 5 at the Dallas American Airlines Center. Despite the bout being a month away, both the MMA and boxing communities are already buzzing with excitement for this highly-anticipated event.

Randy Brown claims Diaz to get “destroyed” by Jake Paul

Brown, a UFC welterweight fighter, has expressed his opinion on Nate Diaz’s boxing skills. According to Brown, Diaz may not possess exceptional boxing ability, but he acknowledges that Diaz incorporates certain elements of boxing effectively into his fighting style.

The Jamaican fighter specifically highlights Diaz’s proficiency in executing drop punches, as Diaz tends to keep his hands held high, allowing him to swiftly drop them onto his opponents.

“I think he [Diaz] gets destroyed in a boxing match. Jake Paul is a boxer by this point, we have to give credit where credit is due and he’s a boxer. It’s been a few years now, realistically I look at him now as a really good amateur.” Brown said.

Recent Esquiva Falcão assessment of Nate Diaz looked far from promising

During the training session, Nate Diaz was accompanied by Esquiva Falcao, a middleweight boxer. However, Falcao’s evaluation of Nate’s rhythm, durability, and dynamism was a little promising.

“At first I thought he was tired. In the end it looked like he was dying. His fighting style is crazy. You look at him and say, ‘Oh, he’s tired,’ and then we started sparring.” Falcao said.

The Brazilian boxer, who has a scheduled fight against Vincenzo Gualtieri for the vacant IBF middleweight title on July 1st in Wuppertal, Germany, expressed surprise during the sparring session with Diaz.

Falcao was taken aback to witness the UFC veteran getting fatigued at an early stage of their training session. This observation was unexpected for Falcao and possibly raised concerns about Diaz’s endurance.

“He was tired, but taking punches and throwing, too. [He] is bad, [he] is bad. Since he’s too heavy, probably around 220 pounds or more. I’m the only big guy in the gym. I had to do it. But I liked doing it.” Falcao added.
