It’s common for fans to joke around when they see players from rival teams. This kind of playful banter happens a lot, especially between teams like the Eagles and Cowboys, who have a long history of competition. Recently, Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott found himself as a victim of such a situation while on vacation.
Dak Prescott, the Cowboys’ highest-paid QB, had an unexpected experience while on vacation in the Bahamas. While at a local casino, he was mocked by a female member of a bachelorette party with an “E-A-G-L-E-S” chant.
The video quickly went viral, showing Prescott looking at the group before entering the casino. The bachelorette party, clearly Eagles fans, took the opportunity to remind Prescott of their team’s recent Super Bowl victory.
The 2024 season was tough for Prescott. He played below his usual level, missing games due to a hamstring injury. He lost five out of eight games and didn’t lead his team to the Super Bowl, which made the chant hit harder for Prescott, especially since he’s the highest-paid QB in the NFL.
Dak Prescott may see a teammate leave Cowboys this offseason
Dak Prescott has clarified that he wants to return to Dallas next season. However, he knows some of his teammates, like WR Brandin Cooks, have been looking for a new team since their contracts ended.
Cooks recently talked about his future, saying, “I’m expecting a good free agency since this is the first time that I would be a free agent in my career.”
WR Brandin Cooks says the Cowboys didn’t maximize him and he would be open to returning if they use him the right way:

“I would love to play with the Cowboys, at the same time they would have to use me right. I don’t think they fully used me to my strengths.”

Cooks, with over 10 years of NFL experience, will be one of the top wide receivers available this offseason. He also said he’s open to coming back to Dallas. Time will tell where faith ends.
