Giannis Antetokounmpo missed the NBA’s all-star game due to a sprained wrist but was present in the Vivint Smart Home Arena last night with his brothers.
In the last game before all-star weekend, Giannis suffered from a wrist injury that was later diagnosed as a sprained wrist. Despite the fact that the x-ray revealed no fractures, the team captain, Giannis, was unable to play in the game.
But that doesn’t stop him from traveling to Salt Lake City to see one of the most anticipated nights in an NBA season and meet and greet with athletes and fans.
What did Giannis Antetokounmpo say that resembled Drake’s lyric?
Just like any other NBA star, the Greek Freak socialized with others present in the venue and shared memorable moments with his fans. In a moment, the power forward tweeted a photo of his brothers with a caption: “Added a new brother tonight 😂🙌🏾💪🏾 #21canyoudosomethingforme”

In the photo, Giannis was accompanied by his brothers Thanasis Antetokounmpo and Alex Antetokounmpo, along with Milwaukee Bucks point guard Jrue Holiday. The caption clearly reflects the Bucks duo’s brotherhood, which developed in two years.
There was another subtle indication in the hashtag the 28-year-old used: Drake and 21 Savage released a song named Rich Flex. There was a line where 21 Savage was reminiscing about his brother-like friend Johnny, who died in a shooting incident.
The hashtag also pointed the 7-foot-tall power forward in terms of music selection and taste, which piqued the fans’ interest even more. In any case, netizens were also entertained by this new brotherhood in the making.
One fan even tweeted, “Jrue Hokumpo 😂😂😂😂,” denoting the Antetokounmpo family name.
