The New York Jets are ready for the upcoming NFL season with great athletes on their roster. The team has signed some of the biggest names in the league. Aaron Rodgers is the team’s biggest move of the offseason.
Jets had a miserable 2022-23 season, and to amend all the losses and to make sure that the team thrives better in the 2023 season, the team has signed Rodgers in a $150 million deal. Nathaniel Hackett, the OC of the team also shared his optimism in the team and the quarterback.
However, despite all this, an NFC scout still doubts the Jet’s potential.
NFC scout skeptical of Jets’ success with Aaron Rodgers
One anonymous scout stated that Aaron Rodgers is declining. According to the scout, people are just afraid to admit it but he’s declining now.
They said the quarterback is a great thrower but ranked him 8-12. “I think everyone is afraid to say he’s declined a little. He’s still a great thrower and sees it really well, but he’s more like [rank] eight to 12 for me.”

While there are doubters, the quarterback also has many supporters. He is one of the best quarterbacks in the field and everyone has faith that he’ll lead the Jets to Super Bowl victory this season.
Hackett shares key insights into Rodgers’ Jets mission
Nathaniel Hackett recently shared the Jets’ mission for this season. He shared that the primary role of the wide receivers will be to watch Rodgers and try to figure out his signal on changing his play regarding the opposing defensive situation.
Rodgers is famous for this tactic on the field. He immediately figures out a situation and uses it to his advantage. Nathaniel Hackett has been with Rodgers and is well aware of the way he plays.
“It’s something that he takes a lot of pride in, and it’s something that we love to see because he takes advantage of certain areas on the field,” Hackett said.
“It definitely puts a little pressure on the wide receivers because they can’t ever just lock in on something that they’re going to be doing. If the quarterback sees an advantageous look for something, he’ll give you something very quick, and you have to have your eyes on him and eyes on the ball.”
Jet’s wide receivers will have to stay active to make sure that they don’t miss any signal from the quarterback. Aaron Rodgers is an exceptional player and as the new season approaches the NFL world will finally get to see how the quarterback will prove his doubters wrong and show everyone that he isn’t declining.
