De Gea may get his wish to play in Spain again after his deal from United to Real Madrid fell through due to a fax machine error in 2015. A deal was agreed between both clubs for the transfer of De Gea on the final day of the transfer window, only for a fax machine error to occur, dashing De Gea’s dreams of ever playing for Real Madrid.

A player of David De Gea’s caliber is likely to have a lot of offers on the table from clubs in the Saudi Pro League. According to reports, the Spaniard rejected some lucrative offers from Saudi clubs while negotiating a new deal with Manchester United.
A move to the Middle East can’t be ruled out for the United legend yet. If he decides to continue playing European football, there won’t be a shortage of clubs interested in his services.
