The Korean Zombie announces retirement at UFC Singapore

After losing to Max Holloway at the UFC within 23 seconds of the third round by a technical knockout/ knockout, The Korean zombie announced his retirement from the sport.

Holloway had not fought since April, when he defeated Arnold Allen by unanimous decision, while The Korean Zombie had not been in the cage for a year after he suffered defeat against the reigning champ Alexander Volkanovski.

After the fight, the South Korean veteran confirmed that he would retire from the sport, before placing his gloves in the center of the cage.

“I’m going to stop fighting. I always aimed to be a champion when I first started the sport. I’m not here to be ranked third, fourth, or fifth. I really believed I could beat him. But I ended up failing, so I don’t think I have the opportunity anymore. So I think I’m going to stop fighting.” He added in the post-fight interview.
