Watson has just one thing to say to all his doubters, that the results will show how good he is. Even though he has been away from the league for 11 seasons he is still confident in his skills and knows that he will make a difference.
“You’re gonna have to live with the consequences that come with it. My results speak for itself, so be it,” Watson said.
Last month, when the quarterback was asked about his comeback, he shared that he missed football and is ready to come on the field again. He stated that he will take this opportunity to prove himself.
“I missed two years of football, so if I was in their shoes, I wouldn’t put myself in that position either. I got to go out there and prove it and that’s what I’m looking forward to. So those opportunities for me this upcoming season, I have to take advantage of it.”

In 2021, Watson was suspended for 11 games due to accusations of harassment made by 30 different women. Although nothing was proved these women’s claims, Watson kept quiet about the matter and only said that he has always respected women.
Nonetheless, the league decided to suspend him. The last time he played was in 2019. Following his suspension, he couldn’t make an immediate return due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Fans can look forward to his comeback as this is going to be a very special season for the quarterback. He not only has to focus on playing but also to prove his doubters wrong. He has to rebuild his reputation and show everyone that the break from the league hasn’t affected his skills and he’s still a great quarterback.
