Andrew Tate, a controversial figure on social media, used to be a kickboxer and has also tried his hand at MMA. Although he has never fought under the Queensberry Rules, he has a background in combat sports.
Over the weekend, Gervonta Davis and Ryan Garcia finally faced each other in the boxing ring. As many had anticipated, Davis won the match after delivering a smooth liver shot in the seventh round, causing Garcia to experience his first-ever defeat.
Following Garcia’s loss, social media users began mocking him, prompting Tate to take to Twitter and condemn anyone who ridiculed the 24-year-old Californian for his defeat.
According to Tate, individuals who have never entered the squared circle have no right to mock professional fighters, whom he compared to modern-day gladiators.
He labeled those who mocked Garcia as cowards and the worst type of people, and vowed to block anyone who does so on Twitter.
“Any Twitter account I see mocking Ryan Garcia is getting blocked,” Tate tweeted. “Unless you’ve been in the ring yourself, you are not qualified to say a WORD. Always a coward who has so much to say from outside the gladiator pit. The worst types of people.”

Extended house arrest for Andrew Tate
In late December, Andrew and his brother Tristan Tate, along with two other known associates. They were arrested in Romania on suspicion of human trafficking, rape, and forming an organized crime group to exploit victims.
Although no charges have been officially filed against the four individuals, an investigation is underway. They were released from custody on March 31 and placed under house arrest for 30 days.
Which was subsequently extended for an additional 30 days by the Magistrates of the Bucharest Court. The group is alleged to have recruited young women and coerced them into producing pornographic material for online distribution.
The prosecution claims that the Tate brothers enticed the women with promises of a romantic relationship or marriage. Andrew has denied all of the allegations made against him by the Romanian authorities. Asserting that his arrest was politically motivated.
