The Golden State Warriors small forward Andrew Wiggins has missed 14 games so far over a month’s duration, and nobody knows why he suddenly dropped off the roster.
He joined the Warriors in a trade from the Minnesota Timberwolves in February 2020, and since then he has played his fourth season for the franchise and started 193 games so far. However, there was no issue regarding his performance or any locker room disgruntlement, as coach Steve Kerr is still hopeful for his return.
In the meantime, there’s a nasty rumor regarding his girlfriend Mychal Johnson’s infidelity circulating around, for which she blasted the netizen for spreading while denying the allegation wholeheartedly.
What did Mychal Johnson say about his relationship with Andrew Wiggins?
The 28-year-old started dating Mychal in 2013, and a year later he was drafted as the first overall pick by the Cleveland Cavaliers. The couple has two daughters, ages 5 and 2, but the relationship appears to be marred by some heinous remarks that she can no longer tolerate.
While the former rookie of the year’s girlfriend was being tainted as a cheater, she denied all these sick speculations and tweeted, “Literally the farthest thing from the truth. It’s sad you all are even doing this.”

She again criticized those who love and enjoy spreading these explicit allegations over social media, saying, “The internet is really a sick place.”

As it happens, there is still a reason to uncover behind Andrew’s mysterious absence from the game. His teammate, Stephen Curry, supported the decision and said, “This is a tough situation with him being away for so long, but necessary. Life is bigger than basketball.”

Wiggins scored an average of 17.1 points with five rebounds and 2.3 assists per game in his 37 appearances this season so far. Previously, in December, he missed another spell of 15 games due to fitness issues.
If the allegations were to be true, it is unlikely for the 6.7-footer to come back to the court anytime soon, but we keep our fingers crossed for him and his family. Let’s see how the story unfolds for us, and till then, stay tuned to SportsZion.
