It can be said most of the fights revolve around them. There was once talk about Joshua facing Wilder, but the notion of the bout has since been delayed.
Anthony Joshua aims to overcome Otto Wallin
On December 23rd, Anthony Joshua is about to face undefeated Otto Wallin. And if Joshua gets the victory against Wallin, then AJ will have a big matchup against the former boxing champion. This time, the former WBA champion is looking to get back on the list of title-fight opponents. Joshua has made a promising statement that he will be dominating Walling in the middle of the ring.
Anthony Joshua is looking to become the champion for the third time and is not afraid of Wallin’s undefeated streak in boxing. Anthony stated that he is looking to dominate the fight from the very first round against Otto Wallin.
But some things are happening that are seemingly bothering AJ, and Wilder also came in support of Joshua. Anthony Joshua confessed prior to the fight that he had lost the respect he once had in the community.
Putting lights on Joshua’s matter Deontay Wilder said, “A lot of the guys coming up disrespect him and say anything to him. And I think that’s kind of a frustrating thing for him to go from one state of mind—everyone respects him—to now losing a few times, and everyone now thinks you’re very beatable and we can beat you, so we’re going to talk trash to you and get to you. That’s what I got from [being around] him.”
Anthony Joshua seeks bout with Deontay Wilder next
Anthony Joshua’s team and Deontay Wilder’s team are always in talks if there is a possibility of a matchup between former boxing champions. Both fighters did come close to deciding on their bout, but the deal they were searching for couldn’t be fulfilled. Wilder previously mentioned that wherever he is going, everyone’s question hinges upon his possible bout against Anthony Joshua.
Joseph Parker, who is also featuring a December 23rd boxing bout against Deontay Wilder, is warning to halt the party of both former champions.
Joseph said, “You can do all the sparring with different sparring partners. You can do weights, running, punching the bag, and pad work, but nothing compares to fighting.”
Deontay Wilder and AJ are both in talks with Francis Ngannou for a possible boxing bout. After facing Tyson Fury, Ngannou’s team has already announced they are looking for at least two or three bouts in the boxing ring.
