Antonio Brown, known for his bold comments and jabs at other NFL players, is once again in the spotlight. This time his target was Pro Football Hall of Famer and sports analyst Shannon Sharpe.
From Tom Brady to even the seven-time Super Bowl Champion’s wife, Brown has thrown jabs at pretty much everyone. The former WR has now questioned the sexuality of Shannon Sharpe, adding to Brown’s history of contentious behavior both on and off the field.
Antonio Brown again insults Shannon Sharpe in his latest post
The former NFL wide receiver Antonio Brown has a history of taking jabs at Shannon Sharpe. Back in February he accused Sharpe of using steroids along with Edelman and Watt.
It is not evident why the former WR has a feud with the NFL analyst but it’s growing each day. Recently, AB crossed a limit by posting a picture of a cartoon character, a green dragon-looking figure, and along with that added a caption that it looks like Shannon Sharpe.
“I can’t explain why, but this reminds me of Shannon Sharpe,” Brown tweeted.
The fact that he didn’t even conceal his message and openly compared the former NFL player with an ugly-looking figure is quite bold of him.
The comment section of the tweet had some mixed reactions. While some agreed with AB drawing similarities between the picture and Sharpe, some fans brutally called out the former WR for insulting Sharpe like this. However, Shannon Sharpe hasn’t replied to this move yet.
Antonio Brown questioned Shannon Sharpe’s sexuality
On Saturday, Shannon Sharpe posted a TikTok video that gave Antonio Brown another opportunity to insult him. Sharpe’s video featured his shopping spree at Total Wine. The video quickly went viral with many deeming Sharpe’s walking style and body language as ‘feminine.’
Antonio Brown, who has an ongoing feud with Tom Brady, found it the right opportunity to question the sports analyst’s sexuality. He reposted the video and, in the caption, wrote “Rainbow” with a rainbow emoji, a sign associated with the LGBT community.
Sharpe was promoting his Le Portier Shay cognac, which he created to honor his grandmother. Despite the positive intent behind the promotion, Brown’s comments overshadowed the event and raised questions about his motives.
His attempt to throw shade at Sharpe’s sexuality was evident. However, Shannon Sharpe has undergone several surgeries including double hip replacement surgery, and multiple knee and ankle surgeries. His body has gone through a lot which might have become the reason why some people found his body language weird.
Despite knowing that Sharpe is a very respectable personality, Antonio Brown made public comments about his sexuality and appearance. Till now, Sharpe has been quiet about it but considering his bold and sarcastic personality, he will make a strong comeback soon.
