As Real Madrid failed to land Kylian Mbappe from PSG, speculations were growing that the Los Blancos might focus their priority on another French youngster and thus secured Aurelien Tchouameni from Monaco on a record fee of £85.3 million.
Real Madrid President Florentino Perez officially handed over Tchouameni the famous number 18 jersey that was once glorified by legends like Gareth Bale on numerous stages of European competitions.
On his speech, Mr Perez said, “He (Tchouameni) is one of the best midfielders in the world. Today he arrives at Real Madrid. At 22 years old, he was able to choose his club and he chose this one,”
As Tchouameni is considered to be the true heir of Casemiro, his talent made him an well-established midfielder before joining Real Madrid in the summer.
During his presentation interview Aurelien pointed out his passion for Real Madrid by saying, “I had the chance to choose other teams but once I knew Real Madrid were interested, I did not have a single doubt,”

Real Madrid now possesses an excellent fusion of promise and experience on their midfield position on which Tchouameni will play alongside Luka Modric, Casemiro, Toni Kroos, Federico Valverde, and national team compatriot Eduardo Camavinga that would definitely spread fear among rest of the big names in Europe.
