Bad Bunny reveals Roman Reigns plan
WWE has been thoroughly impressed with Bad Bunny’s limited number of appearances. He even headlined Backlash, which took place in his hometown of Puerto Rico. This event was akin to WrestleMania for the locals, featuring the participation of LWO and the returns of native legends Carlito and Savio Vega. He entered the arena to a huge roar from the crowd along with with Damien Priest, who received plaudits for keeping one of the most popular artists on the planet safe in the ring.
Now the multiple-time Billboard #1 song holder has decided to set his eyes on The Undisputed Universal Champion Roman Reigns, who is in the middle of a record-breaking reign amassing well over 1,000 days. In an interview with Vanity Fair, the Grammy Award-winning musician suggested that he’s eyeing the top, saying, “My plan is to take the title from Roman Reigns.”
We saw The Tribal Chief going up against a rookie in the ring in Logan Paul at Crown Jewel which was an incredible match so it wouldn’t be surprising to see WWE pulling the trigger and booking a match between Roman Reigns and Bad Bunny.
Bad Bunny’s proposal not met with fan enthusiasm
With the Grammy Award-winning musician only limited to a few appearances over a year due to his busy schedule and prospering career in music, fans were not too delighted with the possibility of him being WWE Undisputed Universal Champion due to Roman Reigns’ criticism of not showing up to defend his title.
A fan commented, “Keep dreaming hermano”, suggesting that he should stick to his part-time schedule and the limited number of matches in a calendar year. He is also one of the highest merchandise sellers for the company. Bad Bunny has impressed everyone with his performance in the ring and it’s incredible to see the artist delivering a Sunset Flip Powerbomb with such perfection.
