Recently, Neymar dedicated his new hairstyle to the newborn ‘Mavie’ last month. However, an unfortunate injury prematurely ended his season during the international break in October. He has now unveiled a new bald look amid his rehabilitation.

However, he is set to miss the upcoming CONMEBOL World Cup qualifiers for Brazil’s national team due to an anterior cruciate ligament tear (ACL) injury sustained during a qualifier match against Uruguay in the past month.

In the absence of their talisman, Brazil suffered their first defeat in the World Cup qualifier campaign with a 2-0 away loss at the hands of Uruguay. As a result, Brazil currently stands in 3rd place behind the World Cup winner Argentina and Uruguay on the table.

The former PSG forward’s season has already concluded at Al-Halil, with no conceivable scenario of returning to the field next year. After making only 5 appearances for the Saudi Pro League side, Neymar revealed a new look to fans with a shaved head and mustache leaving them surprised on social media.

Neymar responding well to treatment after knee surgery

The former Pairs Saint Germain star has experienced numerous injuries and undergone various surgeries in his career, which has certainly impacted his remarkable career.

Recently, the 31-year-old underwent successful ACL and meniscus surgery in Brazil and is on the path to recovery. Earlier it was reported that Neymar Jr. is likely to return before the Copa América in 2024.

Neymar is responding well to surgery, and it is also believed that he well on track with the rehab process. The recovery from an ACL injury and post-surgery rehab usually takes 8-10 months to fully regain fitness. However, the exact time for his return is yet to be determined by the medical team.
