The Portland Trail Blazers’ Josh Hart is among the few NBA players who care about soccer. Hart has previously remarked about his affinity for international soccer on his social media profile. The Young Blazers star is a huge Lionel Messi and FC Barcelona admirer. In previous interviews, this swingman has spoken of his respect for the iconic Argentine soccer star.
Recently, Barcelona was defeated by Bayern Munich by a score of 3-0. Hart expressed his discontent with the loss via Twitter. Hart’s anger was clear from the way he teased the players and used a single word to say how he felt.

Barca sucks.

Nevertheless, some NBA fans took exception to his comment and mocked him through replies to his Twitter.

We can all take Hart’s tweet as an indication of his devotion since it comes from emotion. This kind of approach from this young player is nothing new. He publicly criticized the soccer squad on Twitter earlier this year. Back in 2019, Hart got the opportunity to attend FC Barcelona’s home stadium, Camp Nou.

The Blazers swingman was lucky to meet Lionel Messi and express his love for the Argentine superstar. It is evident that Hart supported Barcelona only because of Messi. However, after Messi left the club he is no longer a supporter and doesn’t mind mocking the club every now and then.
