FC Barcelona have finally submitted their first official bid for Manchester City youngster Eric Garcia. As per multiple Spanish reports, the player has already given “ok” to the Blaugrana side for his summer transfer.
The Spanish center-back rejected several proposals earlier as he is reluctant to extend his current contract in the club. Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola also revealed before that Eric Garcia wants to leave Etihad at the end of the season.
Since his current contract will expire next summer, Manchester City need to fix the situation by allowing him to move to a new club.
Spanish journalists Fernando Polo and Gabriel Sans already revealed that FC Barcelona plan to land the 19-year-old defender by offering €10 million transfer fee. Now they are waiting for the response from the English club. If Man City refuse the offer, Barcelona will then wait till the next summer to bring him for free.

FC Barcelona are now on a rebuilding process after their humiliating 8-2 defeat against Bayern Munich on the Champions League quarter-final.
Some of the senior players might leave the club for the next season. The club has also appointed Ronald Koeman to replace their former coach Quique Setien.
On the other side, Man City failed to make an impression on both the Premier League and Champions League. Hence, the club is again splashing some cash in the transfer market to strengthen the squad.
They have already landed Nathan Ake from Bournemouth for a reported £41 million fee. Also, they have confirmed the signing of Ferran Torres from Valencia. With the departure of young Eric Garcia, the Manchester club are in constant talks with Napoli to finalize the deal of Kalidou Koulibaly.
