Following reports that La Liga president Javier Tebas was waiting for a “feasibility plan” to bring Messi back, Spanish media AS has disclosed how the money may be obtained. There are plans in the works to turn the former offices of the legendary youth academy, La Masia, which is located close to Camp Nou, into a museum devoted to their Argentine hero. Talks with Telefónica, the Spanish telecommunications company, are said to have already commenced.
The ‘Messi Space’, which is what it will be called, could become a world leader in cutting-edge technology.
The idea is that the “interactive and immersive center” would draw thousands of tourists and supporters. This will provide a constant income to fund the signing of the PSG star.
