Whenever it relates to Aaron Rodgers, nothing has ever been point-A-to-point-B, so it seems sensible that he would choose that path for his 2nd resignation in as numerous years. The veteran leader of the Green Bay Packers said on Tuesday that he intended to go on 4 day “darkness retreat” to think about his fate in sports.
Clearly, a large number of individuals were eager to point out how peculiar the whole condition was, including this author. And some people were harsher on the Buccaneers superstar than others.
One of these detractors was ex-NFL lineman Mitchell Schwartz, who in reaction to Rodgers’ admission posted on Twitter, “Weird the Packers aren’t consulting more with the guy who needs to go on a 4-day darkness retreat to figure out whether he wants to play football…” in a less-than-cryptic manner.
However, after learning of this critique, Rodgers responded to Schwartz on Twitter account in a courteous but obviously unsatisfied tone, seemingly emulating Ted Lasso in the procedure.
Be curious. Not judgmental.
We are all on our own path, and doing things like this helps me find a greater sense of peace and love for life. Love and respect to you ❤️ # https://t.co/bsWU7Dphh5

Unfortunately, at this moment everything on the bird app is just comments into the abyss. More urgently, we’ll have to watch until Rodgers returns from his getaway, if not indefinitely, to determine what his next course of action will be as the defending MVP.
Over the several years, Rodgers has kind of settled into the standard in this regard. The storyline is rather straightforward. When confronted with resistance, act nearly bewildered and do something out of the ordinary. To polish it off, add a tiny touch of personality knowledge. Rehash after me.
All recent revelations, though, have suggested that if Rodgers does choose to play in 2023, it won’t be for the Buccaneers. As a result, Schwartz’s criticism of why Green Bay does not want to in effect, handle this situation in an unneeded role does seem accurate.
