Bears star claps back at post-Aaron Rodgers era Packers QB Jordan Love’s Father’s Day dig: “He doesn’t even believe what he just said”

Jordan Love is all set to take over the future Hall of Famer Aaron Rodgers 18-year’s place as the starting quarterback of the Green Bay Packers and the young star has already been bombarded with huge expectations before the start of the new season.

The QB is already in hot weather due to replacing A-Rod, however, he himself recently welcomed trolls for himself after fueling the ongoing rivalry between the Chicago Bears and the Green Bay Packers by making a controversial Father’s Day comment and one of the Bears player didn’t halt back from taking a dig at the Packers star.

Jordan Love’s hilarious Father’s Day dig

After getting selected with the No. 26 pick in the 2020 draft, Jordan had been playing as a backup for Rodgers for the past three years and this season will be marked as his first season as Green Bay’s QB1, however, the Utah State star decided to get involved in violence by sharing a hilarious dig at his division rival team while wishing for Father’s Day.

“Happy Father’s Day to all the Bears fans out there. Go Pack Go”- the four-second video said.

Following the departure of Rodgers from Green Bay, the Bears fans were sighing a breath of relief as the team had been facing the misfortune of losing back-to-back games with the four-time MVP’s former team and the 39-year-old year QB also one took a subtle jab at his rival team following a dramatic triumph over Chicago by screaming to fans at Soldier Field saying-

“I own you. All my f*****g life. I own you. I still own you.”

The Bears fans can never forget the jab. Despite Aaron leaving the franchise to join the New York Jets, Chicago fans could sense a continuing rival attitude from Jordan Love.

Bears’ Brisker fires back at Packers’ Jordan Love

Though Love‘s comment seemed intentional at the moment, he actually clarified later that he had no intention to fuel rivalry among fans by retweeting a tweet that said the Packers’ starter did the video following a request.

“Was asked to do a special favor for this fan, didn’t think much of it lol but I see y’all really took it and ran with it. Regardless, I hope everyone had a great Fathers Day.”

However, the Bears’ safety Jaquan Brisker didn’t buy the theory and bashed the youngster for not being able to stand his word.

“He doesn’t even believe what he just said… 😂 we going see.”

NFL Twitter fans started digging Jordan Love in the comment section saying the Green Bay’s football prodigy thinks the Chicago team is his father as he wished the fanbase on Father’s Day.

Hilariously mocked saying, “he just called us his daddy”.

Well! Just a few days back Bears defensive lineman Justin Jones ripped into Packers fans during a press conference, calling them ‘really s–tty’, and ‘obnoxious’. He also said he wants to beat Green Bay and wished Aaron would stay with the Packers to witness their loss while claiming half of the fanbase doesn’t have knowledge about football.

“Half of them don’t even know football. It’s so weird to me. I want to go out there, and I want to beat the hell out of them on their field. I want to hear the boos then. That’s what I look forward to.”

Love’s team has been a formidable force in the NFC North throughout the past decade by winning eight division titles since 2011 and they also won 13 of their last 14 games against Brisker’s team.

Now, it remains to be seen if the Packers’ new QB1 can continue the legacy of beating their division rivals or if he bows his head in front of them.
