The next bout for Max Holloway has been scheduled. Dana White announced yesterday that the former featherweight champion would settle his dispute with Chun Sung Jung in Singapore.
Both the Hawaiian and the Korean fighters are renowned for their superb hitting abilities, technical mindset , and impressive cardio. It was highly expected that they will square off in the octagon given that both of them have beaten numerous outstanding fighters in their division already.

Holloway, who held the UFC Featherweight Championship from June 2017 to December 2019, successfully defended the title against notable competitors like José Aldo, Frankie Edgar, and Brian Ortega a few times.
Despite once going through a spectacular 13-fight win streak in the featherweight category, Holloway experienced a rough patch as he was unable to successfully reclaim his title against Alexander Volkanovski.

Holloway is now entirely focused on his upcoming match against The Korean Zombie in order to secure another title chance. The MMA veteran took to Twitter to demonstrate his preparation for his Singapore bout.

Chan Sung Jung (17-7 MMA, 7-4 UFC) will now face former UFC featherweight champion Max Holloway (24-7 MMA, 20-7 UFC). On August 26, the main event of UFC’s Singapore Fight Night will feature two veteran fighters of the featherweight division.

In his most recent fight, Max defeated Arnold Allen in a thrilling bout at the T-Mobile Arena in Kansas City. Blessed finally overcame Allen by majority decision after five rounds of competitive mixed martial arts demonstration (49-46, 49-46, 48-47).
Chan Sung Jung, more than a year ago competed in a title match at UFC 273 against Alexander Volkanovski. The current featherweight champion severely dominated “The Korean Zombie.” The Korean MMA fighter was defeated by Volk at the VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Florida, through fourth-round technical knockout.
