Bill Simmons Hints LeBron James’ Jealousy Over Steph Curry’s “Night Night” Celebration

Stephen Curry’s “Night Night” celebration has become very popular in the NBA. In it, Curry pretends to sleep, showing the game is over. Recently, sports writer Bill Simmons said that LeBron James might feel jealous of Curry’s celebration.

Curry’s “Night Night” celebration became very popular after he first used it in the 2022 NBA playoffs. Fans and other players, including Warriors coach Steve Kerr, love it. LeBron James has his own famous celebrations, like the “Silencer” and “The Crown,” but they aren’t as well-known as Curry’s.

During an episode of The Bill Simmons Podcast, Simmons joked that LeBron might be “furious” for not coming up with such a memorable gesture himself. Simmons humorously suggested that LeBron James’ “quirk management” team might be to blame for not thinking of a similar celebration for the Lakers star.

He added, “It’s like, how did you not give me the night-night? I would have been doing that in, like, 2013.” Even with Simmons’ playful comments, LeBron has his own iconic celebrations. Recently, he brought back the “Silencer” during a game with the Pelicans, sharing a special moment with his son, Bronny.

LeBron James’ special moment with Bronny steals the show

The Los Angeles Lakers won 104-99 against the New Orleans Pelicans. But the best part of the night was a special moment between LeBron James and his son, Bronny.

LeBron made two big three-point shots near the end and did his famous “silencer” celebration. Bronny, watching from the sidelines, copied his dad’s move, making everyone smile and cheer.

This sweet moment quickly spread online, showing the joy and pride they have for each other.
