The Buffalo Bills played their first match yesterday after the scary incident of Damar Hamlin’s on-field cardiac arrest. The Bills entered the game with extra determination and willpower.
The Buffalo Bills hosted the New England Patriots at their home stadium, Bills Stadium. The Bills won the game with sheer dominance, giving no space to the Patriots, by a score of 35–23, thanks to quarterback Josh Allen’s three touchdowns. The Patriots’ inability to hold a lead in any quarter reflects the thrashing that Damar Hamlin received.
Bills paid tribute to Damar Hamlin in what way?
Before Sunday night’s final game, 26-year-old quarterback Josh Allen gave an inspiring pep talk in the Bills locker room. “They always say don’t play for the name on the back, play for the name on the front. It’s pretty special we play for the number on the front too,” Allen said in an emotional speech.

Damar’s every teammate wore his number 3 on their uniform as they united behind their leader, Allen. it was a spectacular experience of such humanity and love for each other in the team, it feels like a family, as a fan also brought a placard writing ‘one team, one family.’
Previously, Damar expressed his gratitude for all the support in an Instagram post, writing, “When you put real love out into the world it comes back to you 3xs as much. The love has been overwhelming, but I’m thankful for every single person that prayed for me and reached out.”
The Buffalo Bills stadium paid tribute to him by painting his number 3 in buffalo blue on the 30-yard line. All these trivial representations impose an ample effect on the players on the pitch. The Bills play with their hearts on the ground for their teammate, No. 3 Damar Hammer.
