Boxing legend who last fought in 2013 expresses interest in coming out of retirement to ‘knock out’ Jake Paul

A legendary heavyweight boxer, known for his powerful hitting style and deadly hooks, wants to come out of retirement after a decade just to take on Jake Paul.

Eric Esch, popular by the name Butterbean, fought in the heavyweight division and gained popularity among the crowd because of his strength and knockout ability.

Now, Butterbean is planning to make a grand comeback in the ring just so he can “knock out” and shut the big “mouth” of Paul, letting him know what it means to fight a real boxer!

Boxing legend ‘Butterbean’ wants to fight Jake Paul or Mike Tyson

In a recent Instagram live session, the veteran boxer expressed his desire to make a comeback only to fight Jake Paul.

“I’m going to fight one last fight. It’s gonna be one year from now. Jake Paul, if you’re ready, I’m here for you, my friend. Let’s get it on, me and you, Jake Paul.” Butterbean said.

The 56-year-old retired boxer began his professional boxing career in 1994 and has since racked up a record of 77 victories (58 knockouts), 10 defeats, and 4 draws. It will be interesting to see him in the ring against The Problem Child as he’s about 400 pounds.

“I’m not a typical boxer, I go out there to fight. I want to knock somebody out, Jake Paul or Mike Tyson. Jake Paul runs his mouth too much, he’s never fought nobody, I would love to fight him.” Butterbean said last year.

Eric during his long career competed against several prominent opponents, including Larry Holmes, George Linberger, Peter McNeeley, and Johnny Knoxville.  Meanwhile, Jake has just fought one pro boxer, Tommy Fury, and suffered a defeat.

Tommy Fury sends stern warning to YouTuber boxer KSI, Jake Paul

Tommy Fury warned KSI by suggesting that fighting a businessman shouldn’t be taken into consideration while he was in attendance at the OVO Arena in London to see KSI fight Joe Fournier.

TNT, who earlier stated that KSI needs to fight a real boxer to experience the true flavor of boxing. In an interview with Sky Sports yesterday, the undefeated boxer shared his plan to end YouTube boxing.

“Everybody knows what’s next for me, it’s being teased at the minute. Hopefully, we can get this KSI fight over the line and I’ll knock off another YouTuber. That’s my plan for this year. I want to end YouTube boxing within 12 months.” Fury said.

The most recent fight for the British influencer against Joe Fournier, which took place in May at London’s OVO Arena ended in a contentious elbow strike. Meanwhile, Tommy was victorious in his last fight against the other YouTuber-turned-boxer, Jake Paul.
