A few months ago fans were left disappointed and fuming after the highly anticipated undisputed heavyweight title showdown between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk did not materialise. Following months of back and forth between the two heavyweight champions and even a verbal agreement during a faceoff, everyone was expecting this bout to take place in April.
However, due to unknown reasons, the two parties couldn’t come to an agreement at that point in time. But the rumours of a super tournament featuring the top four heavyweights have revived the hopes of the undisputed title fight. In a recent interview, Tyson Fury’s promoter Bob Arum revealed that talks are going on with Saudi’s representative. He indicated that the discussions are positive and hopeful that The Gypsy King will fight against Usyk.
“Yes. That is correct. I have talked to a representative of Skills Challenge, that puts on these boxing events in Saudi Arabia. We know those people, we worked for them in connection with the Jake Paul and Tommy Fury fight as far as the US television is concerned, so we know who the players are and we’ve had some very interesting talks with them.”
Although when questioned about the tournament previously, the British champion denied taking part in the spectacle. Therefore one will have to wait for a confirmation of a tournament with an official announcement as talks could break down if even one heavyweight walks away.

Bob Arum reveals that Tyson Fury will fight Zhilei Zhang next
Bob Arum who is the promoter of Tyson Fury has revealed the next opponent of the WBC champion. While having a conversation with Ringside Reporter, Arum confirmed that The Gypsy King will defend his WBC title against Zhilei Zhang. The British promoter also disclosed the date and location as he said that the fight will take place In Wembley in July.
Fury is already training for his next fight as he revealed in a video last month. The only problem with this fight taking place is the fact that Joe Joyce has activated his rematch clause against Zhilei Zhang. If the council denies the rematch clause then we might see Tyson defend his belt against interim champion Zhilei Zhang.
