Bray Wyatt’s sudden passing due to heart attack at the tender age of 36 was shocking for fans and the wrestling industry. Even now more than a month after his passing, people mourn his loss and continue to cherish his memories.
The late WWE superstar Bray Wyatt was one of the sweetest and nicest guys, leaving a long-lasting positive impression on everyone he met throughout his life. Braun Strowman, one of the greatest giant wrestlers in WWE, was very close to Wyatt and recently shared a story about Bray helping him in his early days in WWE.
Braun Strowman reveals Bray Wyatt’s generosity
Strowman made his debut on the main roster as part of the Wyatt Family. The Monster among Men joined the faction as the muscle of the team and immediately made a difference on the main roster. As a new wrestler, its was a given that WWE paid him a meager amount of money when compared to other members of the Wyatt Family.
During an interview on The Ranveer Show, Braun Strowman discussed various topics, including his professional success, the reasons for being a wrestler, and insights about Bray Wyatt. Strowman described Bray as a caring and wonderful human being. Braun revealed how during his start of the journey on the main roster, he had a very limited amount of money, and Bray Wyatt came to his rescue by paying for his hotel rooms and food for a month.
Strowman added, “When I got called up to the main roster, I didn’t have enough money to pay for my hotel rooms while we went on the road. So for the first month, Bray paid for everything for me. He bought me food, he paid for my hotel rooms, all that stuff, and I drove him around everywhere, and I learned from him.”
Halfway through the interview Braun got emotional while talking about Bray, the superstar added that he misses him every day and wishes he could’ve spent more time with him. After all, they were like a family as they traveled together for many years, and he learned so many things from Bray.
Braun Strowman on his road to recovery
Braun Strowman had a great run on Friday Night SmackDown for the past year, but unfortunately due to an injury he had to go through a neck surgery. Since than The Monster among Men went for a hiatus until he makes a full recovery.
During an Q&A session with News18.com, Braun shared his current progress and his health update. He revealed his recovery is proceeding as expected and that he recently underwent another medical check-up.
The superstar said, “So I did my five-month check-up and got medically cleared to start lifting weights. So the bones are fusing nicely in my neck. So I had a cervical fusion on my C4 and C5. So they put a metal plate and four screws in my neck. I had four screws and a metal plate put it in my neck. Doc cleared me to start lifting weights again, which was a major blessing because I was going crazy sitting around eight weeks of doing nothing”.
Fans wish Strowman a quick recovery and hope to see The Monster soon, as WWE Royal Rumble is just a couple of weeks away, some fans even hope to see Braun attend the Royal Rumble match in the future.
