Braun Strowman is back, and WWE is bringing back his fierce “monster” side that fans loved during his fights with Roman Reigns. Triple H saw that fans like the “heel” Strowman more than the “babyface” version.
However, ‘The Monster’ has already started causing chaos, with his latest rampage on the December 20 SmackDown, leading to a $50,000 fine for GM Nick Aldis.
On the December 20 SmackDown, Braun Strowman appeared on The Grayson Waller Effect with Waller and his tag partner Austin Theory. Things heated up when Carmelo Hayes interrupted and taunted Strowman, pushing him to destroy the Christmas set.
Later, Grayson Waller shared an invoice with SmackDown GM on Twitter. He demanded $50,000 for the damages, including LED palm trees, a custom carpet, emotional distress, and light fittings. Waller also joked that Aldis should pay up before RAW’s Netflix debut on January 6, 2025.

Since you’ve failed to respond to private messages, guess I have to do this publicly.
New transfer portal opens and your approval rating backstage is at an all time low- not a great mix 🤔 pic.twitter.com/g7kV1TlbM9
Though the post felt like a promo for RAW’s Netflix launch, Nick Aldis’ sharp response added to the fun. It’s great to see WWE’s creative freedom shining, with everyone—from wrestlers to staff—nailing it.
GM Nick Aldis responds to Waller’s hefty refund request
SmackDown GM Nick Aldis finally addressed Grayson Waller’s demand for a refund after Braun Strowman’s rampage on Friday Night Smackdown. Aldis clarified that he hadn’t responded earlier because of the hectic holiday season and the inundation of messages from management. He also humorously told Waller to be patient and sent him a fake email address.
Hello! Thanks for reaching out to the office of Smackdown General Manager Nick Aldis. While we strive to answer every message individually, volume is high during the Christmas Holiday season, so please bear with us. In the meantime you can email EAD@nickaldis.com https://t.co/X3VEfj4h5s
