Premier League is set to produce a grandstand season after the teams picked up form and deliver formidable performances, but there is an incident involving an ex-Premier League star drew the attention of the fans as he was reportedly being arrested by police.
According to multiple sources, a former Premier League star carried narcotics with him worth a significant amount of 4500 British Pounds which is strictly prohibited under the laws.

Gardai (Irish Police) found cocaine in the car of the player who was driving it during a raid after been informed by internal sources. There was another man found in the car who too was taken to the police station as part of the investigation.
The identity of the player was not disclosed in front of the media, and it remained in a cast of clouds about who it could be, and neither the identity of the accomplice was revealed. Later, Scottish sun revealed, it would be Anthony Stokes, who is responsible for the incident.

“Gardaí arrested two men (aged in their 30s) in the early hours of Friday morning, January 6, 2023, in relation to incidents of dangerous driving in Dublin 12.” A spokesman from the Gardaí told to reports.
“A quantity of drugs was also recovered from the offending vehicle. Both men were detained in Crumlin Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984 and have been charged in relation to this.”
After initially being granted bail, the former celebrity and his companion will be brought before the court given the fact that, it is a punishable crime.
“The two alleged person have been bailed after initial investigation and are due to appear before court at a later date with further information are coming.”
