The Cleveland Cavaliers made history by becoming the 14th team to start a season with 10 straight wins, beating the Golden State Warriors on Friday. They extended their streak to 11-0 with a victory over the Brooklyn Nets on Saturday.
Before the season began, many expected LeBron’s Lakers or Steph Curry’s Warriors to be the top contenders, but the Cavaliers are proving they’re a true championship threat this year.
The Cleveland Cavaliers won their latest show against the Brooklyn Nets, 105-100, with standout performances from Evan Mobley and Donovan Mitchell. Evan Mobley scored 23 points and grabbed 16 rebounds, while Donovan Mitchell added 22 points to help secure the win.

The team is now even more motivated to keep winning because they know what they need to do. According to Coach Kenny Atkinson, the games are starting to feel more intense.
Cavaliers’ coach Atkinson reacts to the team’s victory
After the Cleveland Cavaliers’ exciting 105-100 comeback win against the Brooklyn Nets, head coach Kenny Atkinson talked about the team’s performance. Despite achieving a record-breaking winning streak, he acknowledged that the team struggled throughout the majority of the game. However, he also praised the players for their strong effort in pulling off the win.
In the press conference, he said, “Heck of a comeback. We weren’t great, but it’s a sign of a really good team that they can pull something like that out when you’re not playing your best.”
He continued, “Normally you know after 11 games, you’re not thinking about a streak. But tonight you’re thinking ‘I don’t want it to end this way. When you’re out there it’s in the back of your mind, and you’re thinking ‘we got to keep this thing going.”
