Boston Celtics star Jaylen Brown and WNBA free agent Kysre Gondrezick were together for less than a year. Sadly, it looks like Jaylen Brown has lost interest in Kysre. Some reports say that they have ended their relationship.
It’s always hard when a relationship ends, especially when things seem to be going well. Jaylen Brown and Kysre Gondrezick started dating last summer and made their first public appearance together at the 2024 ESPY Awards.
Their romance seemed to grow when Kysre was seen supporting him at the Celtics’ championship parade in June 2024. They also shared romantic moments, like a birthday trip to Brazil and attending New York Fashion Week together. But today, it was a shock to hear that they broke up.
A source said, “No one in their circle saw it coming. He was so invested in her.” However, it also mentioned that Jaylen started to distance himself to focus on his basketball career. People who knew them were surprised by the breakup because it came out of nowhere.
Jaylen Brown blames shoe brands for USA losing basketball edge
Jaylen Brown has been in a long-running disagreement with Nike, one of the biggest shoe brands, for the past three years. Since last year, the Boston Celtics star has blamed Nike for his snub in the USA’s basketball Olympic team.
Now, Brown is calling out all sneaker brands for hurting basketball in the USA. In an interview with Sports Illustrated, Brown said, “One, I think sneaker industries, and I’ve said this before, have way too much control over the basketball foundation.”

He added, “They should just be working on developing their basketball skills. Instead, we’re focusing more on shoe politics, and I think that is why the rest of the world has caught up.”
