Watch: Travis Hunter’s dream home surprise to his mother
Travis Hunter has bought his mom a luxurious new house. The CB shared a video in which he took his family to a new, massive house. He gave his mom a card, and when she started reading it, she realized that her son gifted her that house.
Travis then handed her the keys to the house, and she started running in excitement and hugged her son, thanking him. “Y’all got me good,” Hunter’s mom said about the surprise. “Wooooo!!!!”
Hunter called it the “nice a** house” which has 5 bedrooms and two baths. This house is one of the biggest purchases the CB has ever made. Last year, when he proposed to his fiancée he gave her a diamond ring along with a brand-new Tesla.
The house was the second biggest purchase of Travis Hunter. He isn’t earning from football yet, but he has accumulated a lot of money from several NIL deals, including Michael Strahan deal.
Travis is considered one of the most talented college players and was also awarded the 2023 Paul Hornung Award for being the most high-level performer. He will soon enter the professional NFL world and for that, he got advice from Deion Sanders.
Colorado’s Deion Sanders’ NFL advice to Travis Hunter
Colorado’s head coach, Deion Sanders, advised Travis Hunter, a two-way player for the Buffaloes, to continue being himself in the NFL. Sanders emphasized Hunter’s versatility, playing both wide receiver and cornerback, and suggested that he should maintain this dual role at the professional level.
The coach highlighted the challenge for NFL teams in deciding how to utilize Hunter’s talents, noting that he brings value to both offense and defense. “NFL got a problem. What you gonna draft him as? And… he’s gotta play both ways. ‘Cause he has value on both sides of the ball,” Sanders said.
In his first year at Colorado, Travis achieved significant success. He recorded impressive stats: 57 catches for 721 yards and five touchdowns on offense, and 22 total tackles, five passes defended, and three interceptions on defense in just nine games.
Hunter is eligible to declare for the NFL draft after his junior season. The position at which the CB is drafted will impact his future earnings. The highest-paid cornerback in the NFL earns $21 million annually, while the highest-paid receiver earns $30 million per year.
Regardless of his position, it’s evident that Travis Hunter possesses unique talents that will make him an attractive prospect for NFL teams.
