Messi’s list of sponsorship deals includes Adidas, Pepsi, Lay’s, and Budweiser, and now, Hard Rock Cafe has joined that long list of endorsement deals.
Messi is in line to make his MLS debut soon after snubbing Barcelona and a move to Saudi Arabia to play with Inter Miami for the upcoming MLS season. The 36-year-old has already arrived in Miami ahead of his unveiling on Sunday. The timing of Hard Rock Cafe’s Messi advert couldn’t have come at a better time.

The famous Rock n Roll-themed restaurant chain Hard Rock Cafe posted a video of a new advert featuring Lionel Messi yesterday. This new video has been making rounds on social media following reports that the Argentine had landed in Fort Lauderdale in the early hours of Tuesday. In this video, Messi enters a restaurant’s dressing room to change from his black leather jacket into a white chef’s outfit.

He heads into the restaurant’s kitchen to instruct his team of chefs on how to make his signature chicken burger, inspired by his favorite Milanese food. The new Milanese-style chicken burger combines provolone cheese, a Milanese-style chicken breast, tomatoes, rocket salad, and herb aioli, all wrapped in a pair of toasted artisan bread.
Messi’s new signature chicken sandwich is one of the most interesting things happening in the United States since he announced his move to the MLS last month. Messi’s shirts have been spotted at the Adidas office in New York. The hype surrounding his arrival at the South Florida club has been unprecedented.
When Will Lionel Messi Make His MLS Debut?
The MLS and Inter Miami have been preparing for the big event of Messi’s unveiling on Sunday, which will be held at the 18,000-capacity DRV PNK Stadium in Florida. The event will be aired live on Apple’s MLS Season Pass app, and talks have also been held to have it aired at halftime of the CONCACAF Gold Cup final between Panama and Mexico on Sunday.
The 2022 World Cup-winning captain will also get to prove Cruz Azul’s Erik Lira wrong after the Mexican midfielder called the Argentine “just another player” ahead of their crunch season opener on July 21st, where Messi could make his debut for Inter Miami.
