On Sunday, Arrowhead Stadium witnessed the battle between the Kansas City Chiefs and Los Angeles Chargers, with the Chiefs securing a spectacular 31-17 victory against the Chargers. It goes without saying that Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce’s contribution would not have been stellar without the presence of his “good luck charm” Taylor Swift, who made her fourth appearance in the Chiefs matches.
This is also validated by the Chiefs’ head coach, Andy Raid, who seems to have unwavering faith in the efficacy of Travis’s “lucky charm.”

During the Chiefs match against the Chargers, Travis Kelce landed 12 receptions for 179 yards and one touchdown. During the first half of the match, Travis Kelce made sure to set a record this time by being the first tight end to earn 100 receiving yards in a row ever since 2000.
If the stats from his last 5 matches are looked over, the tight end did not fail to stand out with his girlfriend being in the box to cheer him up. This is why his head coach suggested that “She can stay around all she wants.”, according to ESPN’s Adam Teicher.
Andy Raid’s comment does have some weight, as Travis does deliver top-notch performances (an average score of 99 yards in each game) when Taylor Swift is there. On the other hand, in her absence, either the score goes down to 46.5 or the Chiefs’ tight end suffers from “Taylor Swift curse” as he ended up getting injured in her absence.
Even though there is also a side that is not so much in favor of the abundant spotlight that the NFL is drawing towards the whole Travis and Taylor romance, the impacts she has had in the community cannot be denied and the star is here to stay. Besides having a substantial impact on Kelce’s performance, Swift’s influence has also served as a merit in commercial terms. For instance, the price of jerseys has accumulated, and Chiefs tickets are being sold faster than ever for Swifties to catch a glance of Taylor.

As Taylor Swift made her way into the Arrowhead stadium, her choice of wardrobe proved her unwavering support for tight end boyfriend, Travis Kelce.
The pop star decked herself in red Kansas City Chiefs’ baggy sweatshirt which has the number 87 complementing it with her signature lipstick and a black miniskirt. She also subtly matched the outfit with the friendship bracelet that also has number 87 on it.
