Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes recently enjoyed some downtime with his wife Brittany Matthews, as they were spotted watching the Lakers vs. Mavericks game on Sunday. The couple sat courtside at the American Airlines Center, where Mahomes cheered on his home team, the Mavericks.
However, the sighting also brought up memories of a past incident, where Matthews was criticized for her public behavior at a basketball game.
Matthews, who has been previously criticized for her antics, became a topic of discussion once again. Last year, during a basketball game at Mahomes’ alma mater of Texas Tech, a camera caught Mahomes telling Matthews something, to which she appeared appalled. She then told someone sitting next to her that he had told her, “No more resting b—h face.” Her response quickly became a meme, and Mahomes was seen shaking his head in what appeared to be frustration.
Despite the past incident, the couple seemed to be enjoying their break from the NFL season. Mahomes, a Texas native, is known to be a big fan of the Mavericks and is often seen cheering them on. His wife, on the other hand, is an entrepreneur and fitness enthusiast who has a large following on social media.
