Travis Kelce has been the talk of social media for the last couple of weeks, with rumors of dating pop star Taylor Swift making the rounds, along with his recent turnaround decision to take the COVID-19 vaccine.
In a recent collaboration with pharmaceutical brand Pfizer, Kelce posted a video on his social media handle titled, “Two things at once,” urging his supporters to get vaccinated. However, he was quoted as being hesitant about the vaccine in the past, triggering claims of hypocrisy and deceit from the NFL community.
Some netizens even went so far as to assert that the reason behind Kelce advocating vaccination is his current interest in Taylor Swift. With the online pressure mounting on his head, Travis Kelce temporarily disabled comments and shares for this video.
Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift dating rumors continue to buzz
The rumor mill is always running on overdrive when it comes to the Chiefs’ TE, and of course when it involves someone with a fan following of Taylor Swift. Addressing these rumors on the Pat McAfee show, the 33-year-old said, “It’s hilarious how much traction this actually got. everyone, please stop asking my brother about these things.”
“It’s life baby, I threw the ball in her court. I told her that I’ve seen her rock a stage in Arrowhead and she might have to come see me rock the stage at Arrowhead and see which one’s more lit. We’ll see what happens”, he added.
Travis Kelce took the chance to take a mischievous swipe at his fellow NFL star brother, Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce, who recently said, albeit jokingly, that the whispers about his younger brother dating Swift are “100% true.”
“Especially when you’ve got Jason Kelce on live television telling people just both sides”, he said with a hint of a smile. “He doesn’t know. … The guy is absolutely ridiculous. Can’t stay out of the freaking headlines.”
