Phoenix Suns star guard Chris Paul was visibly upset as fans in the Dallas Mavericks crowd apparently harassed his family.
The Dallas Mavericks entertained the Phoenix Suns in the fourth game of their play-off series. While the Mavericks ran out winners to tie the series at 2-2, incidents off the court overshadowed the game.
The family of Suns star Chris Paul was harassed by a fan of the Mavericks. According to Dave McMenamin of ESPN, Paul’s mother had hands put on her by Dallas fans and his wife was also pushed in front of Paul’s children during Game 4 in Dallas on Sunday.
Paul’s mother, Robin, as well as his wife, Jada, and their two children watched the game in seats close behind the Suns’ bench at American Airlines Center, sources told ESPN. His mother had hands put on her and his wife was pushed, a source familiar with the situation told ESPN, and Paul’s kids were there to witness it.
Paul was visibly upset with the incident, and as the fan was being escorted out, Paul was seen saying, ” I’ll see you later.”
